It’s been a long time coming but we now have a little more news on our launch.
Back in November 2014 I sent out a request via Facebook to ask UK artists for their help in painting / decorating our SwearPig for our charity launch. Initially the response was overwhelming with over 30 artists willing to get involved.
We have been able to whittle the artists to 10 who have now confirmed. They will be painting and decorating 2 SwearPigs each and the charity auctions will take place via ebay. To be kept up to date about the auctions please sign up here http://swearpig.com/launch/
Here is a little more information on 5 of the artists getting involved. I will update on the other 5 next week. In no particular order.
Sharon Stone is a professional oil painter based in Southend-
on-sea, Essex. She has been making art for the past 8 years, exhibiting in many local galleries and venues.
Specializing in landscapes of her home town of Southend, she paints from photographs taken on regular walks with her father. Sharon has been invited by a local gallery to publish one of her works of Southend Pier into cards and prints.

I’m a UK based artist (Gloucestershire) selling my original art paintings and commissions all over the world. I hand deliver all my work in the UK and have recently expanded that to include the rest of the world. It’s great to meet the people who engage with my work. Swarez isn’t my real name but it’s a nickname that seemed to fit many years ago so I kept it. I have NO art training and am 100% self taught. Oh, and just seven years ago I was a courier driver, delivering parcels for a living. Just goes to show what you can do with a small idea and big dreams.

I’m really a self taught artist. A Geordie lad, hailing from a small mining village called Pegswood in Northumberland, originally, from Polish parents. I now live in Stannington, Northumberland, where I’m enjoying all that retirement has to offer.
My art education began in earnest when I started a Foundation course in Graphic Design at Newcastle College, it was here that I really developed most of everything I do today, live portraits sketching etc.

Ruth Gray was born in Nottingham in 1972. After graduating in Textiles at The Nottingham Trent University 1992, she began her artistic career as a fashion designer. At the same time she began studying art at night school. This is where she saw painting and fine art as a vehicle as a means to express her creativity.
